Active Age Free for Seniors

ActivAge™ is a free 3-month (12 sessions) group-led physical activity program for inactive older adults. It introduces participants to physical activity and reinforces their commitment to incorporate it into their daily lives. ActivAge and Choose to Move are run by registered Fitness Leaders who have their Older Adult specialty.
The program is progressive with planned physical activities (stretching, activity, and cool-down) based on ActivAge™ training. This fun and social program will help get participants moving in a relaxed environment with likeminded people.
The program has two class options to choose from:
Option 1: focuses on improving activities associated with daily living, strengthening muscles used day-to-day (ie: bending, lifting, stretching, etc);
Option 2: focuses on exercises that will enable each participant to become more involved with other physical activity programs or sports.
Each class incorporates physical activities that engage participants, and features in-class discussions and resources to improve overall health and physical well-being.
There are 2 intake dates to choose from:'
Wednesdays 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm from October 2 - December 18
Thursdays 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm from October 3 - December 19
